Serious question. How can all of the baseball minds who watch the R's

realize that Hillman makes terrible decisons (Rany, Soren, Royals Review, MVP blog, etc..), and Dayton doesn’t? Or…does he and he just isn’t publicy admitting it. If my job was attached to how well my manager ran my team and he made THIS many terrible decisions, he would be working elsewhere.

The worst part is that HoRam hasn't given up a run

He only allowed inherited runners to score. And those don’t count in Trey’s mind. The 15 earned in 18.2 IP isn’t enough to cut him yet.

i can see it now

“Ho-ratio-y pitched a heckuva outing tonight, just got a little unlucky with that Joyce ball that got up into the jetstream, but you know, he’s a proven major leaguer so I don’t see that one hit effecting the way I use him in future, er, game situations, uh, I’ll continue to play the, the, percentages and what not…”

I admit to loving the Royals.

I’m 41 years old and went to my first game in 1975. When I was a kid they were always good. It saddens me that there is an entire generation of people in KC that have only seen them stink. I still have my Frank White autographed ball that he signed for me back in 1982. It genuinely hurts when I don’t think they will ever get better. The absolute lack of fundamentals is horrible. Its almost as though they don’t think its important.

by stram#1 on Jun 2, 2009 9:46 PM EDT reply actions
