That is literally the first thing I heard when I tuned the game in.
Fail.
- W. Bloomquist homered to deep center

That's not even the worst thing so far.
He’s listing the positives and says,
"Sidney Ponson should be coming back soon"???
HAHA, way to do your research, dumbasses.

They had a lot of good ones to choose from early and then didn’t have elections in 1940/41 and 1943/44. Cy Young didn’t even make it the first year.

Talking about morons in the BWAA
There’s one less after cuts at the Star. We all know why no ballplayer can be an unanimous choice because ALL sports writers at newspapers that cover a team get to vote. Remember this classic column:

Jacobs swings and misses at a lot of balls
and it appears with some of those swings his bat is going at 2 MPH.
What is he expecting to do if he connects with one of those super slow swings?
- W. Bloomquist homered to deep center
- P. Earth explodes
Is payroll so tight
that we can’t even buy a freakin’ CLUE at the plate?? Good God I can’t bear to watch anymore.
Chris Carpenter:
12 first pitch outs.
Really?
realistically speaking
Make that 13.
21 outs guys. 13 on the first pitch. REALLY?
realistically speaking
I am absolutely positive Shealy or Kila
could’ve produced what Jacobs has produced so far this year (and played defense once in a blue moon).
- W. Bloomquist homered to deep center
- P. Earth explodes
But that would mean we'd get to pay them league minimum and keep Leo Nunez.
realistically speaking
On the bright side,
having Jacobs has allowed (forced) Butler to play everyday, and in the field, too. So, he is getting all the playing time we could ask for and producing fairly well.

IBB'ing is a poor strategy in general
with 1 out especially so. With a good hitter in Ludwick afterward even more so.
I Think I
Prefer TPJJ to TPJ, both in the field and at the plate. At least he has the usual batting deficiencies of a good field, no hit SS. And he sucks from both sides of the plate.
I used to be an A's fan until they left town and got good.
Why does he Switch Hit?
Why not put all his resources into being somewhat competent from one side instead of super crap from both.

Well its cool man haha
I just really have trouble watching this team everyday when i see no strong moves to change things up. For instance, HoRam on the roster 2-3 weeks to long (if ever being on the roster was good), Davies has won 2 of his 12 starts and we just now make a move. The moves arent strong and are perpetually late. I know the talent pool is weak and injuries arent helping but its tough to watch this team just have nowhere to turn. Literally, everyday i go from one extreme to the other lasing this team for being stagnant and then having the realization that there is not much to do. Not good enough to make trades. Not deep enough to punish the premadonnas in the lineup. Its like being tied up and have water drip on your forehead 162 times.

like these losses count
until Albert can pee into a cup for us, we don’t know if these losses are real or not
I can't believe we missed an episode of Cops for this
and it was the big episode of Cops where they went to the trailer park to arrest a shirtless man, before they picked up some guys trying to solicit hookers, and they tased a random minority
JOE LAURIA UPDATE
a tornado ALMOST touched down… and IT’S STILL RAINING IN KANSAS
yeah.. we’re not gonna see Cops or America’s Most Wanted tonight
According to Mark Bowman at MLBlogs, the Royals retain interest in Braves OF Jeff Francoeur and are keeping an eye on him this weekend. However, Bowman notes that if a deal were to happen, the Braves might have to be willing to assume the $12MM owed to Jose Guillen.
Guillen is owed another $12MM in 2010 before his contract expires. The Royals’ interest in Francoeur is well known, though supposedly not everyone in the KC front office is keen on him. It isn’t clear if the Braves would be willing to add any payroll, let alone any payroll that would involve a potential headcase like Guillen.
I’d trade Hosey for a crossdresser these days
Shit go ahead and do it..
It would be as big as move as this team could make right now
Bloomquist. God? Or just an illusion? You be the judge.
