Game 68 Overflow Thread

When did the Royals become the Nationals? Here's the runs allowed totals for the last five games: 12, 12, 10, 7, 12 (in progress).

I can't wait to watch Soria pitch in a few innings however. He's a special weapon that the Royals are lucky to have.

Soria just makes me feel so secure when he comes into the 9th

….of a seven run deficit.

He'll Be The

Defensive sub for Tugger.

I used to be an A's fan until they left town and got good.

yeah...

it was a book I was suppose to read in High School (maybe even junior high) I didn’t and I’ve been using this name for about 12 years for various things, it was hilarious to me then… not so much anymore, but Im too lazy to think of anything else

I bet Pujols hits a 3rd homer right here..

Bloomquist. God? Or just an illusion? You be the judge.

except for that bomb of a grand slam that hit the window of the Hall of Fame

you all know I am a Cards fan first, grew up in st louis so theres your reason, live in KC now, and seriously i try to root for the Royals, but man it was great throwing it in some of the piss pore fans you guys have…I am not saying all of you guys are classless because you arent, which is why i enjoy reading this blog. but the fans i sat behind today were just out of hand and when he hit that bomb in the 4th it was utterly pleasing to say wheres your trash talking now…

You have no concept of sarcasm

I pity you. You will not enjoy this site with that flaw in your personality.

by kcbottom9th on Jun 22, 2009 4:13 PM EDT up reply actions

they dominated the game

as for the stands… i’m sure our fans bailed out after Hillman lost his fucking mind and pitched to Pujols

by BHWick on Jun 21, 2009 4:43 PM EDT up reply actions

thats what it looked like

30k+ before the 4th, with about a 60-40 split with red winning over blue colors…after the 4th about 20k+ with a 80-20 split with red winning over blue colors, unless you count the empty seats and then you saw more blue

3-for-4 with 2 HRs, a double, and six ribbies

I think he’d be okay in the AL.

or the Yankees

let’s just say that arrangement is going to end whatever good graces Pujols is held under here. The Cardinals are not an evil empire like the Yankees are.

There’s already a number of suburbanites who are not fans of the various Pujols relatives. But it goes to another level if Pujols sells out and goes to New York

by BHWick on Jun 21, 2009 4:47 PM EDT up reply actions

not to stick up for the suburbanites too much

since some of them are giant jerks. But if you’re unfamiliar with the situation involving two Pujols cousins and a kid in Indep.. I can dig up some links.

by BHWick on Jun 21, 2009 4:48 PM EDT up reply actions

granted, if Pujols leaves the state of Missouri

we’d have something to agree with Redbird idiots about.

Now, if Pujols were to leave STL and sign with the Cubs, then those people would get really pissed off

by BHWick on Jun 21, 2009 4:52 PM EDT up reply actions

I could see it happening.

New owners want to make a statement…

by ddw on Jun 21, 2009 4:54 PM EDT up reply actions

now

if Dayton were to somehow sign Pujols, then anything short of a bust means that Dayton has a job for life for somehow luring Pujols into this mess

the royals have reduced me to blasting early career jackson browne

Look
it’s like your standing in the window
of a house nobody lives in
and I’m sitting in a car across the way
let’s just say, an early model chevrolet

FUCK

did Soria shave off his goatee? How come Hillman can keep his beard and Soria can’t?

Considering that Soria is our Maytag repairman these days, can we give him hosting duties for the Mark Teahen show?

by BHWick on Jun 21, 2009 4:58 PM EDT reply actions

eh

it’s not like we’re really going to go on a hot streak before the all-star break.

This team is toast right now. Trey drove it right into the mountain.

Can we block this clown already?

Royals, NBA, Golden Hurricane, Hawkeyes, Chiefs, and KU basketball, in that order.
