Yeah

Northern Mexico is a good spot for Baseball, and the ties with the US are strong due to having relatives who live north of the border, and having more access to US media.

I’d imagine American Football would be slightly more popular in the North instead of the South.

The residual football fanatic effect from Texas

probably goes in all directions. Even south of the border. At least for a little ways.
