some fresh fish to watch while the big boys flounder
At least with the Chukars and the Burlington (of the carolina persuasion) Royals starting up we can check out some of our 2009 draftees like Cole White (Chukars) and Ryan Wood (Burlington) just to name a few. Another one to watch will be Travis Jones in Burlington. The Royals took a chance on him in the 50th round last year and he signed (I think he had a scholarship to ASU). Supposedly he could be a big surprise from the 2008 draft.

I'm actually really starting to like what we have going in the low minors
very few sure things, but more potential and depth than any time i can remember
And we haven’t even signed our first four picks yet – Crow, Myers, Dwyer, and Coleman.
Assuming we get them signed before the deadline, I think Crow and Coleman slot in to the Burlington (IA) and/or Wilmington rotations immediately.
Myers and Dwyer probably go the Idaho Falls or AZL route.
Waiting for April.

If Crow signs early enough
I bet he starts at AA. If not, he’ll go to the Arizona Fall League.
