Agreed.
There are some things that are just so comically perfect in and of themselves that it is a hopeless pursuit to attempt to add any hilarity.

Doesn’t sound any worse than caffeine, except maybe they were trying to keep Sidney away from the buffet tables? Maybe they should ban that next, along with energy drinks.

Dear WBC:
Your tests are obviously flawed. He is still nicknamed Sidney “Pontoon” for a reason.

This is not a joke
Too many people have serious health problems using those kind of things, I hope Sidney stays away from them in the future.

From the decision to pick Chen over Ponson
Trey sez:
“We didn’t want to try force the hand,” Hillman said. “Sidney’s pitch plan today was 60 to 70, and we’d like to have him built up further than that. He probably could go further than that even today because of his history sucking up innings. But we didn’t want to force that.”

didn't want to force what?

Seriously, someone needs to be keeping track of Trey’s exact quotes and sources for history’s sake. A few to be checked and sourced:
“more SLG”
“I didn’t know you were going to ask me a baseball question.”
“Mahay isn’t a lefty specialist.”
“Force the envelope.”
varoius uses of “massage”
etc.

it just seems like he's so damn stubborn
that he says a ton of stupid shit trying to cover his ass.
If you were thinking, you wouldn't have thought that.

Wow, didn't even catch that one
I had skipped right past it and stuck on the “sucking up innings”

Didnt' he say something in the past week or two about the bullpen?
Something about how it had been “inefficient,” but he clearly meant “ineffective”?
