Treyball

when your team has 1 hit through 7 innings, and you pulled the guy who scored the only hit

it is obviously just a confidence issue

I want to thank Banny for moving me from third in my

fantasy league to fifth, all by his-self.

and hell

Teahen and Hulett are both LHB

Trey pulled THE ONLY GUY WITH A HIT OFF OF NIEMANN for some reason…

Does Trey wet the bed when his dreams involve success? because he finds new ways to lose every night.

This ain't 2004!

I don’t know how to do sarcasm font, but Mellinger assured all of us today that we shouldn’t worry: this ain’t 2004.

How long before we’re allowed to think that DM might not know what he’s doing?

by hippdoghipp on Jun 3, 2009 10:07 PM EDT up reply actions

until the week before he's canned

which will coincide with JoPo’s “It’s Time” Column

Think 2014

I'm not a sabermetrician, but I do play one at Driveline Mechanics.

Soria is warming up?

well, nice to see that he’s still alive

by BHWick on Jun 3, 2009 9:23 PM EDT reply actions

ugh...

these “getting him work” appearances just seem pointless to me

there’s a game day tomorrow, and I’d prefer he just pitch them

oh wait, there’s like no chance it will be a save situation, so… no prob

by Freneau on Jun 3, 2009 9:24 PM EDT up reply actions

Yeah, but

Soria’s already wasted in his role. Might as well give him a short of hitting sixty innings this year.

it’s a little different than normal b/c he gets to work back into form from being out with the shoulder pain

by benfunke on Jun 3, 2009 9:26 PM EDT up reply actions

oh yeah

I went by Sonic, and it was jammed. I’ll try again at 10pm

by BHWick on Jun 3, 2009 9:26 PM EDT reply actions

but wait!

it is only the 8th inning. The percentages tell you that this won’t work out well. What is Trey thinking?

Way to go Trey

take out the guy that got our only hit, and get an error from it

Royals as a team: 43 HR

I was not advocating a complete Keel hall the other day but...

now I am, I don’t think any form of coaching, or talking will do a thing

send em all minus Meche, and Greinke to AAA now

start over

Complete game, 9 K's and only 100 pitches.

Wow.

Good news about tickets,

great seats will be available for the remainder of the home games.

If you were thinking, you wouldn't have thought that.

by Warden11 on Jun 3, 2009 9:49 PM EDT up reply actions

that is a sliver of silver lining.

i’m moving to KC in august and i will be taking advantage of cheap tickets. i would absolutely trade that opportunity for sustained success.

by stuckinstl12 on Jun 3, 2009 9:59 PM EDT up reply actions

Just remember, buy the cheapest available.

Then, sit down below. Ushers don’t check tickets unless you try to get into the 100’s.

If you were thinking, you wouldn't have thought that.

Straight up. WTF, over.

I used to be an A's fan until they left town and got good.

by philofthenorth on Jun 3, 2009 9:51 PM EDT reply actions

What about...

dropping Ponson and signing Tom Glavine? Anyone agree?

by stlfan on Jun 3, 2009 9:54 PM EDT reply actions

Fuckin' A

by philofthenorth on Jun 3, 2009 9:55 PM EDT up reply actions

We picked Ponson over Pedro Martinez

anyways, we can’t send down one of our half dozen middle infielders for a pitcher
