Always it is by Bridges That We Live: Royals Links, News, Etc. To Take Your Mind Off the Losing Streak
The SB Nation tech team launched new software this week which makes it insanely easy to do links-posts, so hopefully, I'll start doing them more often. There are so many great baseball sites out there now, it's hard to keep up with it all. As such, I hope that maybe one of these links helps you find something better to do online for a few minutes, other than writing your hate letter in blood to Trey Hillman.

Trey has lost this team
IMO. I understand that this team isn’t the most talented on the face of the earth; but it is a LOT more talented than recent Royals vintages.
Even if we were in a slump, there have been winnable games that because I believe of poor choices by Trey, has added to the losing.
No doubt, this is a team effort, everybody sucks ass right now, but I believe in the tone at the top, and for whatever reason this team is not buying what Trey is selling.
As bad as we’ve been recently, this season is not a lost cause yet. It may be time to make a managerial change to see if we can salvage this season (and by that I mean a run at .500 and players living up to their potential). This performance is just totally unacceptable.
I hereby resign from this post.

Trey has no control over....
Player execution.
Sure he has made some “interesting” choices sometimes but, what else does he have? I am by no means suggesting Hillman is a great manager, but he isn’t the one giving up runs, not hitting in runs, not catching balls, not blocking balls, not throwing strikes…….see what I am trying to get at?
It’s arguing after the fact, Oh he should have put Cruz in, but what if he did? That doesn’t mean he would be effective. Hillman has more info on his players than we do, who knows what’s going on.

true, but
he is the one that may not be providing the necessary leadership and/or inspiration to get the players to play at their best.
I know that the players are mindless automatons that merely spit out the results of a random series of probabilities;
but leadership in organizations is real and does have an effect on performance. How much, who knows?
I hereby resign from this post.
