Royals Get Back to Their Losing Ways

I'm stunned that Roy Halladay shut down our lineup. Stunned.

Why did it even start at 50% each way?

Well, if you use the Canadian coversion system

75% Canadian win percentage is equal to 50% American win percentage… Aw, hell, I can’t even make that joke with the Canadian dollar about 90c to $1.

And now, the media people can no longer say we are only "X.X" games back.

Because we are now 6.5 games back, which is a lot. Which means the season, is officially over.

realistically speaking

I am not sure slayor that the season is entirely over

the outlook is not good, and it is quite improbable that the Royals can get into the playoffs……
…..but stranger things have happened.

Here’s hoping the last little shread of hope I have left of something incredible happening this season, starts to grow into a huge bat of kick ass hope, and it scores the Royals runs

Really great of Olivo to concede the Cy Young to Halladay already ...

http://www.kansascity.com/sports/royals/story/1238392.html

"He doesn’t make any mistakes," Olivo said. "He threw that first pitch up, and the umpire gave it to him. That’s it. Then he threw me one over there (extending his hand), and I swung.
"Then he threw me one over there (extending his hand even farther), and I swung. He got me to chase. That’s why he’ll win the Cy Young. He’s good."

Jeff Weaver Would

Win the CY if he pitched to Olivo all the time. Hell, I might.

I used to be an A's fan until they left town and got good.

Slack; he’s feeling the hot breath of Brayan Penya coming up behind him fast.

I think that we ll win 1 of 5 games the rest of the season

If frustration creeps in attack me I dont care, my alma mater has blown an opportunity to go to omaha four out of the last five years. Consider it a challenge, who is my team? That should be more exciting than cutting yourself in the shower cause the royals blow a royal penis(pun intended). A truly wonderful day for me all around. Large props to a beuatiful child for NY. Things can always be worse and a beautiful
child puts things in perspective.
