But if Dayton is in some stupid “win now” mode, doesn’t losing Meche for an extended period pretty much put to rest any hope on that. Even he has to know that a rotation consisting of Zack, Banny, and some combo of Davies, Hochevar, Chen, and Ponson is in real trouble when it can’t hit, right?
