I rec'd this...but I still don't buy it. MLB still doesn't take us seriously

As long has Chris Berman has retired or died by then
Then it’s cool. I don’t want his brand of awful announcing dirtying the air of KC.
He's the perfect guy to introduce that new Greinke guy to the world.
If you were thinking, you wouldn't have thought that.

Unless his nickname for Greinke is horrible...
I haven’t heard of anything Bermann has come up for him yet.
Time to start guessing the Royals' record at All-Star Break 2012!
Kansas City Royals: your 2006 and 2007 NL Central champions!
ok, IF we get 2012
What do we do to the stadium in the next 3 years before the game? How about the grounds?
There is work to be done!!
Coffee. The NEW Performance Enhancing drug for Sport's Writers. Just ask Ken Rosenthal.
So she's coming to KC?

I read it here today too...
http://www.philly.com/dailynews/sports/20090714_All-Star_Game__Crystal_Baseballing.html
Season ticket sales are going to spike about 300% that season, and I’d assume, 2011 as well for people to get guaranteed All-Star tickets. We should at the bear minimum see a modest spike in Player Salaries to correspond I’d hope.
BOOM! ROASTED!
that's just about perfect timing...2013 might be better....
but 2011-2013 are either going to be the time that it comes together, or the time that Allard gets fired b/c we’re still the laughingstock of baseball.

Allard
if intentional, hilarious.
Christ, you don't need a quadrophonic Blaupunkt! What you need is a curveball! In the show, everyone can hit heat.
if unintentional, even more hilarious

Hmm, wonder if my partial season package will allow me to purchase them?
If you were thinking, you wouldn't have thought that.

I was wondering the same thing
I had pretty much decided not to renew them for next year but now…

CELEBRATION!!!!!

the funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it!

I was wondering why we spent all that money on a stadium for a bad team
Now I remember. Maybe we can get more than one All Stars in and maybe Zack can start for the AL in 2012.

I'm sure Seattle is already looking forward to having their best pitcher start that game

I wonder
If they’re going to build more hotels out there, or fund some sort of mass transit between downtown and the stadiums because a “Fan Fest” in the Arrowhead parking lot will suck, and I don’t see how you can room so many out-of-towners for an event at Kauffman at those two small hotels.

That's kind of what I was getting at above...

According to Peter Gammons there is a problem
If you are the Royals, not only are your revenues light, but the commissioner’s office has threatened to take away your 2012 All-Star Game if you go ahead with the agreements you have in place with two high picks.
