Many bad things happened late. That was lame.

Joakim Soria just wasn't an option
having thrown 0 pitches in the last 4 days
Enough is Enough - Fire Trey Hillman
Gordon looks like such a AAA-geek child compared to Longoria.
- W. Bloomquist homered to deep center
- P. Earth explodes
How must it feel to be responisble for the team's loss?
The sickening shame and pain Gordon has to feel for dropping that routine pop up that ended up allowing 2 unearned runs ought to bring him right up to speed with the aggregate shame and pain he would have felt if he’d played for the Royals over the course of his DL stint.

i am officially not going to the game tomorroow
the events which transpired tonight were too sickening for me to bear watching a repeat performance in person
-
Jacobs line for the month is something else
.192/.192/.538
3 HRs and a single in 27 AB.
Jacobs will need to step it much to match that month that John Buck hit 6 HRs and .196
Enough is Enough - Fire Trey Hillman
in case you didn't catch it in the chatter
Jacobs has a higher BA and OBP against LHP than Guillen
You have John Buck RIGHT THERE
Enough is Enough - Fire Trey Hillman
dude this transgression falls so low on the list of sins that this management team has committed it's hardly worth mentioning
they make nonsensical personnel moves, don’t expect on field decisions to make any more sense… the ship is off the course, and it’s hit some icebergs that bear a shocking resemblance to betancourt, jacobs, wright, et. al
-
Trey is just ignoring reality
that Jose SUCKS against LHP with his highest K-Rate ever
BECAUSE HE IS INJURED AND UNABLE TO HIT LEFTIES
Enough is Enough - Fire Trey Hillman
so
did Jose show up right around the time that our offense died?
maybe not having the cancer around actually helps this team
Enough is Enough - Fire Trey Hillman
Fuck this. Fuck this fucking fandom.
Use fucking Soria in the middle of the 8th. If you aren’t going to use him there, put his ass in the fucking rotation. Here is a night where you actually score a few runs and the game is blown.
If you were thinking, you wouldn't have thought that.

I completely understand why Cruz started the 8th
HOWEVER. Soria should have been warming up during the 8th in case Cruz got into trouble
after he gave up the single to crawford, soria should have came in to face THEIR BEST HITTER.. Or maybe he was too tired from a huge break to be able to get 4 outs
WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH ALL STAR TREY HILLMAN
He is honestly without question, the dumbest fucking piece of shit manager in the history of the MLB.
it is a joke and something has to be done.
Dayton Moore is just as big as dumbshit.. Good thing we didn’t have NUNEZ or RAM RAM in that spot because we love Jacobs and Crisp so much more..
And don’t even think about DM firing him.. he is wayyyyy to fucking embarrassed to fire a guy that he hired and he thought was gonna be “the guy”
Kansas City Royals
Joke.
Fucking Embarrassment Shitty Fucks.
Better luck never.
Bloomquist. God? Or just an illusion? You be the judge.

Hillman should not simply be fired
He should be escorted from the building by security, with his box of personal effects dumped at his feet in the parking lot and his pink slip stapled to his forehead.
I mean really, how can everyone else see — in advance — how stupid his decisions are?

Wow...that's a fantastic post
even when Jacobs hit’s a HR, we lose because Nunez or Ram Ram aren’t there to save the game for us.
And if Soria isn’ t going to pitch as much has other closers like Papelbon, K-rod, Wilson, Fuentues what good is he.
Alot of good closers come in the 8th inning when the team is in a jam. Hillman has pitched Soria in those situations before and they worked. WTF is he doing not bringing him in?
This guy is ridiculous – he’s not learning from his mistakes. He is either really stupid or over-thinking and mind-fucking everything! Get him out of here

the funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it!

The first time I saw this was disturbing enough.
I definitely didn’t need to see it five times. Broken, indeed.
Fuck This Team. Period.

I used to support Hillman...
No more.
I’m tired of watching the best reliever on the team ride the bench while underachieving setup men blow lead after lead after lead.
A HUGE demoralizing loss that should have been a win.
Inexcusable. Hillman must go.

did not watch the game
although i agonizingly watched the scroll on the bottom of ESPN. I believe there were two outs when Longoria hit his HR?
Didn’t Hillman bring Soria in in the exact same situation right before the ASB?

I was going to add
that maybe he could have brought him in, but Cruz is also getting paid to get major league hitters out. He was a good reliever at one point.

But he did his job.
he got 2 outs. he gave up a hit to arguably the best baserunner in the league then the best player on the Rays came up to bat..
Thats when you bring in your best reliever. the closer. the best closer in the game today.

Agreed here.
Home Run Tony Cogan is correct as well, but that was a situation Soria.
Crystal clear
If you were thinking, you wouldn't have thought that.

But
for the most part, Cruz hasn’t been holding up his end of the bargain, not have Wright or Mahay.
The goal of playing an MLB baseball game is to win. The best way to achieve that goal is to make managerial decisions that put the team in a position to win. Putting Soria in the game with two out in the eighth would have been the best scenario for the victory and he passed it up. Again.
Just mentioned that in an early post
Hilman brought Soria in the game when it was the same exact situation.
He’s a fucking retart.
Oh, and so much for being the biggest retart on the board for defending Betancourt a little – he got a triple and 2 hits….has TPJ ever done that?

If that's what he brings every night, I will be happy to admit I was wrong
But even Dayton Moore knew this trade would be criticized big time.
im just kidding
it’s one game. It’s nice to see though.
Maybe he’s paying attention to all that’s being said. Hopefully he’s listening and has a little pride left. His character is questioned, his heart. His skills declining are in question too. I wouldnt want to hear that it was a “relief” and “thank god” I was off a team from the Mariner side, nor would I want my new team’s fans to be so hateful because they gave up one of their prospects for me and i’m a waste of money

A HUGE demoralizing loss that should have been a win.
That can be said for at least 15 games this year
Bloomquist. God? Or just an illusion? You be the judge.
Yes
And most of those can be traced to improper use of the bullpen and sheer failure of the pitchers themselves.
We shouldn't be surprised at this point.
Crappy players + Bad manager who makes bad decisions involving those crappy players = A team 15-20 games below .500 at the end of the year.
Its a tried and true formula in baseball.
- W. Bloomquist homered to deep center
- P. Earth explodes
but where and when did Jacobs and Butler attempt to bump fists?
was it “at a baseball game?”
I'm not a sabermetrician, but I do play one at Driveline Mechanics.

I am not completely sure, but I think you may be right
at least that’s what the caption told me, if it weren’t for that, I could have not assumed anything
