SI article about baserunning
With quotes from/about some royals such as Willie Wilson. And why did this traitor "Dan Fox" leave K.C. with his baseball stats and take them to Pittsburgh? (not that it's helped them, apparently)

haha
I think Dan was just a “stringer” for MLB/STATS or something. HIs blog archives are danagnostises.blogspot.com (I think, without looking).
His baserunning numbers predate and are superior to James’, IMHO. If you look at THT and BP’s archives, you can find his methdology articles on them.
He’s only been at Pittsburgh 1-2 seasons, it takes longer than that. I think I read that he was recommended by Tom Tango, who also once called Fox the unaffiliated (at the time) sabermetrician most respected by those “in the know.”
I'm not a sabermetrician, but I do play one at Driveline Mechanics.
