Should I not like Brian Roberts?
Oh I guess 2013 Brian Roberts would be bad.

He'll come over in the Hosmer trade
the Royals will get Rich HIll back as as sweetener for the deal

Counsell has been more valuable than any Royals position player so far this year

too bad the Royals couldn’t afford his onerous contract demands…

makes you wonder
how much of that production spike occurred because Counsell dropped his batting stance in favor of a normal one
Enough is Enough - Fire Trey Hillman
how did bloomy fool so many?
it isn’t 1996. guys with no power, no batting average and no OBP… you’d think people would get it
"so many" = 1?
and don’t forget no defensive skills other than in LF

he was back on the "fundamentals" and "accountabillity" today
but he actually does a decent job… his recent reports (not the blog) have been “objective” but have definitely pointed out… issues…

"accountability"
I agree with, shuffle some pieces in the pen. Although, I’m guessing that happens after the trade deadline.
He can get 4, NOT 5.
fasho
I think that signing might have been the point of no return for JoPo
hence the subtle “It’s just me, but I prefer to Adam Dunn to Willie Bloomquist” blog post at the time… it felt like resignation

I don't know if its justified with Teahen...
he lined out trying to go the other way, which is usually seen as a good hitting technique
don't these guys know how good Teahen is?
NYRoyal is going to be on Ryan’s ass now
Enough is Enough - Fire Trey Hillman
Just so long as no one's actually saying Teahen's bad
for not “moving up the runner” there shouldn’t be an issue. :P
"Do they have people that tall in Mexico?"
well
they were both apparently on Teahen
granted, Ryan is in a torrid love affair with bunting, probably because that’s the only thing he could do on offense as a Gopher
Enough is Enough - Fire Trey Hillman

here
A Los Angeles native, Ryan graduated from Loyola High School in 1989 and began his broadcasting career as a freshman at the University of Minnesota at KUOM radio. He graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1994, where he was a 3-time All-Big Ten selection in baseball and established school records for hits, triples, and at-bats. He was drafted in the 27th round of the 1993 June Free Agent Draft by the Cleveland Indians and played one season in the New York-Penn League.
