JoePo: Fire the whole team
Well, not really. But in a KC Star column, he shies away from going as far as "The Firing Squad: Dave Owen Edition". At the end:
I’m not blaming Hillman or the coaches or any specific players for this. To be that bad at something, it takes a full team effort.
Well yeah. Plus you wouldn't want to get banned from the Royals.
[Edit: I see now Craig based his work on a JoePo blog post. Updating this fanshot appropriately.]

Fire Everyone
I prefer this idea
One of my friends is from Tennessee and is a big Volunteers football fan. When they lost to Wyoming last year, I got this text from him:
“Tennessee just lost to Wyoming. Time to kill everyone on the team and start over.”
they tried that...
and ended up with Lane Kiffin…

And a fucking phenomenal recruiting class.
Kiffin was on my short list for candidates @ KSU. He is going to win a title or 2 @ Ten
BOOM! ROASTED!
Did anyone watch the game tonight?
Mitch Maier should have had a triple easily, but Dave’s windmill suddenly broke and he held him up at 2nd. Guess it didn’t matter anyways, but he’s either way too cautious, or gambles at really bad times. Dye would have had to make a perfect throw to get him, as he was traveling away from 3rd when he would have had to make the throw. He kind of loafed to the ball too, as I think he thought it was an automatic double, and Mitch wouldn’t try for 3.
...except the guy who put the team together
he’s doing a heckuva job. It’s the quirks that’ll getcha
I'm not a sabermetrician, but I do play one at Driveline Mechanics.
