Gordon, who said he’s been pain-free for about five weeks,

wisely refrained from referring to the new K as “The House of Pain”?

is grateful to have avoided the Royal pain of that same period?

agreed that the hip is the new oblique, the happening pain of 2009?

2 walks in one game?

That passive crap won’t cut it in the major leagues. He needs to swing hard in case he hits it! :)

Alex Gordon first felt pain in his right hip on Opening Day.

I love our medical staff.

Encouraging.

Our KC line-up will be about 25-35% better when he returns. It’ll take a little time, perhaps 2 weeks or more, but we’ll get in a hitting groove as a team before the end of the season. -TL

today was a nice start, actually

Olivo’s insane “SLG over .600, OBP under .300” streak won’t last, but Teahen and Callaspo have been hitting pretty well all season long, and DDJ is starting to get into the act.

yeah

I hope Gordon becomes Longoria or even Zimmerman when he gets back. You are labeled the savior then become one.

Dejesus is definitely heating up and could definitely hit .285 this year. Teahen, Butler & Callaspo have hit well all year and Olivo is actually providing more power than imagined. He could hit 25 HR’s this year!!! Dejesus has to slide to CF to make way for Teahen in LF.

I like Chen better than Davies too. Meche needs to wake the fuck up and Hochevar has to contiinue to pitch well.

Who knows what can happen
