Who is this Deivy Batista?
Yes it's early, but Deivy Batista is in the top five in nearly every offensive category in the Pioneer League. He also had a strong line in his debut in the AZL last year but has already surpased his home run total (5) in just nine games played with the Chukars. Although he does have as many errors at short as he does home runs, there could be some promise in the foreign kids coming through the system

At this point, ANY good news is welcome
even if it is of a prospect at least another 4 years away…

he looks pretty good, but...
… hate to be a downer this early (with this small a sample size) but he’s not walking at all — i’d say this is a hot streak and he’ll cool off at some point. At the same time disregard every word I say b/c the sample size is just 9 games.

I used to be an A's fan until they left town and got good.
