Ricciardi claims it wasn't a salary dump, even though they got nothing in return. Here's hoping he has a long, healthy, fruitless career with the White Sox!

I really hope they play him in CF

Rios came up as a CF
and only didn’t play there because of Wells’ “veteran privilege.” I remember scouts saying he would push (the then-good rather than horrible) Wells out of CF. He’ll probably be around acerage or better in CF for the next year or two, although you can never tell.
I'm not a sabermetrician, but I do play one at Driveline Mechanics.
