Well, just like I presumed, the Royals bats have come alive for the 2nd double digit run game in...... a week? Less than a week? I'm not looking it up. And just like the Mariners went a torrid hot streak to get out of the Strasburg race last year, it's about time for the Royals to begin an emotional drive for 4th place in the Central, just out of Bryce Harper's grasp. Hey, if that does happen, it'll be the 2nd straight year the boys in blue started and ended the season on a "high note". Can you imagine if the '08 Royals had been decent enough during the whole season to make the playoffs? If we had just been slightly above average from April to August, we could have had a monster hot streak like the '07 Rockies did and stun the country and make the WS! Alright, enough dreaming, a bunch of off-topic points of interest for you to answer if you wish!
- On a scale of 0-10, how excited are you for Madden '10?
- With the recent BoSux, Tigers "brawl", I remember the most important question of the decade: have the Red Sox overtaken the Yanks as the most annoying and hated baseball team?
- Here are some shows I've never seen one episode of: The Sopranos, Entourage, Trueblood, The Wire, Extras, and countless other shows my friends always tell me I should check out. Am I insane? Which of those are really can't miss (even though apparently that Sopranos show ended) The only show I've followed since being a Scrubs junkie is The Office. What are your thoughts on TV today, and the fact that there are so many great shows that I "need to watch, Tivo, DVR, ect." how do you decide on which ones to follow, or you choose to just stick with sports and movies? Do you still like the classics like sitcoms and whatnot more than the new age stuff?
- District 9 comes out Friday. Allow me to express my excitement....
