Fire Hillman, Hire McGyver
It is obvious that Trey Hillman does not have what it takes to be a successful big league manager. His biggest failure is his inability to properly utilize the very reasonable and not at all crazy 3 man bench that he has been given. That's why it's time to fire Trey Hillman and hire a man who can make the most out of nothing.
It is time to hire McGyver. Angus McGyver.
While Hillman has problems using a complex bullpen, McGyver can randomly use math and science along with duct tape to get out of sticky situations. Hillman's approach is too old school, while McGyver is a mix of LaRussa and Bruce Lee. McGyver's record includes using household objects to make poison while Hillman had problems programming his microwave.
Dayton Moore is the greatest roster creation genius in the history of the world. McGyver is the kind of man who can take what Dayton gives him and turn it into a World Series team. You could give McGyver 10 hitters and he'd produce a powerhouse. You could give McGyver an infield of TPJ, Luis Hernandez, an injured Aviles, and Mike Jacobs and they would all win gold gloves. Even noted slackers like David DeJesus would improve under the guidence of McGyver. The only man who typifies the values of McGyver is Willie Bloomquist, as both of them are very crafty and never use firearms.
It's obvious. MCGYVER NOW
