Anything we’ve seen lately; no Bloomers, anyway. How will we lose the DH tonight? Have we added any pitchers?

Don’t call them Scandanavian, and offer to be their king. They have no royalty of their own and have kind of adopted the Swedish royalty as their own.

You guys can have this
I am so tired of this crap. How they can’t get 5 runs off that stiff the Twins put on the mound is one thing, but removing Davies for absolutely no reason has wrecked it for me. Mahay? That jerk couldn’t strike me out. I give up unless Hillman gets canned. When EVERY decision you make proves to be incorrect you have got to go…
Yep, they suck to galaxic proportion this year
but at least we were able to pick up some important pieces for the future (Blomqvist, Anderson)
Much more optimism over at Arrowhead Pride.
Hopes fade once again from blue to red. Go New Chiefs!!

I can't believe the size of the crowd
KC has pretty great fans. We’re historically bad every year, and we’re still drawing 20,000+ for weekend games in late August when we’re 27 games under. Against the Twins. Impressive.

I dread the thought of Maier, Yuni and Anderson coming up in this situation.

there's no angle to DDJ
unless you just go all in on the “underappreciated” thing, which is really more of a blogger thing
Poz is pretty with it statistically and in understanding player value, but he still loves his stories

Trey gets the loss
Yanking Davies in favor of Mahay? Doing nothing with the late inning batting options? We’re all astounded by his ineffectiveness as a manager.
My wife
who knows less about the Royals than Hillman does. Watched somebody step into the batter’s box with the tying run on first and said “That had better be Jacobs”. When my wife has a better baseball IQ than the guy running the team changes have to be made.
