Third baseman Mike Moustakas and first baseman Eric Hosmer, the club’s first-round draft picks in 2007 and 2008, continue to miss time at Class A Wilmington.
Moustakas hasn’t played since suffering concussion-like symptoms Tuesday when a ground ball caromed off his head. He is expected to return by the end of the weekend.
Hosmer is awaiting a new pair of prescription glasses. Club officials say he can’t resume playing until they arrive.
