Late Night Links: Jose Guillen & Mike Jacobs Fight, Nick Francis Gets Busted
It seems a little weird to me that Guillen is traveling with the team, but maybe he has unfinished business in Seattle. That's the Battle of Grass Creek for ya. I'm sure Ho-Ram is also poking around the Emerald City as well. I'm imagining a fantastically raucous & theatrical party -- like Freddie Mercury or 1990s Prague style -- being hosted by Olivo and Guillen on either a yacht in Puget Sound or an old warehouse sometime this weekend.

It's a shame
It was looking like he was finally putting things together. But there are MiLB outfielder positives. Hilton Richardson (2007 7th) is essentially taking his place and has finally figured something out. And the Derrick Robinson news in Bradford’s last post is hopefully something to get excited about (I’d like to see him do the same thing in April and May before I start believeing, though).
If you look closely, it really says "CentralChamps2012."

Send him to Winter Ball
and keep it going. No way I’d give him time off after he’s figured this out. It’s just a chance to forget it.
Francis was 23 in A ball. He may have looked good, but he’s pretty old for the league, and when that happens, you tend to get seasons that look like this.
hm
sending a guy who just got suspended for abusing drugs down to the Dominican or Puerto Rico is an interesting idea

Well Shit...
Jakers and Hoagy should have had at it week 1, because basically before the fight Royals were bad, since the fight the Royals are the most dominant force in baseball
Desperately hoping for Desperate Measures
IMO the funnest part of the Hoagy-Jakey tussel
They swung and missed each other!!! Couldn’t make contact!! But instead Pena and Olivo got the fisty cuffs.
Geeze…
You know though this has got to be a long season for these guys. Tempers are going to flare. I’m just glad no one got arrested.

I'm surprised Olivo caught anything

If it was the beginning of the year and they all sustained season ending injuries
We would have been still in the mix for the division
