    Not usually a fan of the American Enterprise Institute

    but that farming article was good, I thought. Organic farming can really only prosper because large-scale scientific/industrial farming can feed everybody. Organic crop yields are too low and more subject to drought, extreme temperatures, pests, etc., and the system is much more reliant on poorly-paid human labor, leaving it as a niche market for those who can afford it.
