Cortes rocked again
0-2 with a 7.78 in four starts since trade. Not justification, but perhaps some tiny consolation.

His K/9 rate jumped from 6.4 to 10.1
It looks like he has been unlucky with some home runs.
Just the opposite of Yuni
who has been lucky on a home run

Look how pathetic this organization makes us all
We are fervently rooting against some 20 something year old kid we’ve never met, in the desperate hope that his failure will somehow justify the decisions of an incompetent 40 something year old GM who despises his fanbase and dismisses them as uneducated and distrusting of some mysterious process that can’t be explained or understood – merely trusted with blind faith.
Mr Glass, this is a pro sports team, not a retail store - run it like one!

I'm not rooting for failure, because even if it does happen it doesn't make the trade right

Just to stick it to Dayton.
Imagine the scenario where we face the Mariners in the playoffs and get knocked out in a Game 7 by Cortes, after he starts 2 games in the series, goes 2-0, and has a 1.50 ERA.
Difference
This is what we’ve come to as KC Fans? Rooting for players we traded to fail?

I don't think that's the majority opinion
a number of people want him to succeed to further illuminate Moore’s stupidity.
I'm cheering against Cortes.
He sounded like a punk anyway and frankly, I never wanted to see him in KC.
I’m also hoping Albert Pujols flunks a steroid test, because seeing the Cardinals fans devastated might be the one thing that saves this train wreck of a season.
