Around SBN: Are The Orioles Bad Or Unlucky With Their Young Pitching?

14th round pick Simmons signed. under average fastball but good curve/change. was a top 5 round guy until his demands scared away teams.

He's a sleeper.

Pitched at a very high HS level in GA. Good to have him onboard. This means that with the signing of Crow, we’ll have signed our first 24? Not bad.

he’s similar to John Lamb, but with a bit less fastball. they’re probably banking on him adding a bit of velocity. spinning a good breaking ball = possibility of adding velocity.

Lamb isn’t talked about much but he’s a terrific prospect in his own right

baseball rules.

Lamb is very good. He was supposedly a supplemental or second rounder who slipped with the injury.
