Bruce Chen should probably take the job of Mahay or Bale

Chen in the pen = Chen playing for 4 or 5 more teams and retiring when he’s 40.

I sure the hell would like for Chen to take Bale’s job. Or any LHP to take John Bale’s job.

if you haven't noticed he's had 4 straight good starts

or 4 “quality starts” by that measure.

Why would anyone have a problem if he is our 5th starter, especially if Davies can be a solid reliever. Davies self destructs after a few innings anyway, he would be good in the pen

If Chen could cut back on his HR's he would be a fairly good pitcher...

but too often players square up on him.

This is fun
Chen threw two wild pitches, bringing the Royals’ total to 61, tops in the majors. No other team in the AL has more than 45.

I am happy for Chen, taking the long road back to recovery, and getting a W

too bad Greinke or Banny, or Meche can’t get half of this run support, but that’s a whole ’nother topic

When super delayed gratification meets with underachieving veteran they laugh at the Royals, just a hypothesis though

Well, now Bruce can

cross “win a game in a Royals uniform” off his bucket list.

Seriously, that’s pretty much the only explanation I can think of as to why he’s still here and trying.

cross "win a game in a Royals uniform" off his bucket list

that is an immensely rare, rare item to be able to cross off

Hopes fade once again from blue to red. Go New Chiefs!!
