This one's way better

Bale’s was merely a physical mistake, something that can happen on occasion. Hoch just went into dreamland.

agree

Despite his spectacular failure, Bale was actually attempting to make a play, which is a normal thing to do. Hochevar was calmly taking off his hat, wiping his brow, and putting his hat back on as the runner advanced. Olivo throwing his hands up in the air after Bale’s airmail was pretty funny though.

I vote Bale.

Only because of the situation.

Hooch’s blunder only made the score 4-1 with a runner on 3rd. No need to panic.

Bale had the game tied 5-5 w/ one out, bases loaded. The game still could’ve been winnable (if tie games are considered winnable by Royals standards) if he would’ve completed the double play and got out of the inning.

Plus, Luke was just mentally stupid. Bale is both mentally and physically stupid.

Many walls has to pay dearly for Bale’s stupidity last night.

Damn heady play

by Davis though. 99% of players at any level would have simply dropped their head & turned back to 2nd. 100% of all Royals would have done this.

BOOM! ROASTED!

not DDJ

he would have never slowed down and been thrown out at third

Nah

At least some Royals would fail to realize that the ball got past the catcher and stayed at 1st base.

Normally, when you see this the player snaps out of it

and makes a quick (usually offline) throw. Watching that play, it doesn’t look like it ever even registered with Hochevar that there was a runner.
