I didn’t realize this abysmal season was still underway.

Chiefs roll. 'nuf said.

Yeah, it's on WGN

Which means we get to listen to Hawk Harrelson. When things are going well for the Chisox, all you’ll here is that insipid: “He gawn…” When things aren’t going well, like last night, he doesn’t say a friggin thing. He’s terrible.

He's just showing his passion. Announcers today are too lifeless.

Can't stand the guy

but I get so few games a year I have no choice. He has this arrogant way of speaking that makes me want to choke him.

I think he's funny:

Man, did he lose all his skills down there in the minors?

He didn't just discover plate discipline overnight

He realized he has that mutual option for next year so all of a sudden he changed his ENTIRE approach at the plate over the past couple of weeks. Think where his OBP would be if he had taken more walks earlier instead of pulling out his nine iron and hacking away like any of us on the back nine.

The way he's going

if they get five innings out of him they had better take it and run.

by stram#1 on Sep 19, 2009 7:41 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs
