Eliminated from the #1 Pick: Arizona, NY Mets, Toronto, San Diego, Cincinnati, and Oakland.
Records from the last week: Washington 1-5; Pittsburgh 1-5; Baltimore 2-5; Cleveland 0-7; Kansas City 4-2; Arizona 3-3; NY Mets 2-5; Toronto 1-5; San Diego 3-3; Cincinnati 5-2; Oakland 7-0.
Hot: Oakland going 7-0 on the week vs the Rangers and dreadful Indians. Cincinnati was 5-2 vs. the Astros and Marlins. Kansas City going 4-2 vs. the best the AL Central has to offer. What a sham.
Cold: Nothing can be worse the the Indians 0-7 week vs. the A's and Twins. Pittsburgh and Toronto kept pace with Washington winning only a single game and losing five.
Kansas City: The Royals had another hot week coupling last week's 6-1 with a 4-2 record making the last 2 weeks a bizarre September blazing of 10-3.
Gotta love the Royals. When it matters, we fold, when nothing matters but the top pick, we're stellar.
