Farnageddon

Farnageddon (Late Latin: Farnagedōn,[1] Ancient Greek: Ἁρμαγεδών Farmagedōn,[2][3] Hebrew: הר מגידו‎ far məgiddô) is the site of an epic late innings battle associated with the end time prophecies of a number of Royals Review writers.

According to traditional interpretations, Mr. Farnsworth, aka he who "Bombs", will return to the mound and defeat the Yankees, the "Beasts", in the battle of Farnageddon. Then A-Rod, or some Yankees' backup playing to rest A-Rod, will hit a comebacker to the mound and all "hell" will break loose.   Thereafter, the Angels and Tigers will be gathered from the four corners of the earth. They will encamp surrounding the holy ones and the media's  "beloved city," also known as New York City[4] and they too will be crushed, but in a less ugly fashion.

The word Farnageddon does not appear in the Royals' media guide, or the Greek New Testament.[5] The word comes from Hebrew far məgiddô (הר מגידו), meaning "Mountain of Earned Runs".    The city known as "Kansas City"  was the location of many decisive battles in ancient times, going back as far as 1985, but does not seem to muster much in the form of such battles any longer.

Royals fans have been praying for relief from Farnageddon for over six (6) months, without avail.

For some ominous parallels to other important battles (and actual references to the empty footnotes), see here.
