Rosa, Marte, and Hughes called up
believe it.
think their waiting for the end of the season to call up Gordon and other positions players. there's like 10 or 11 active position players there.

The Royals are desperate to get TPJ back to the majors...
so they can employ some crazy wildcat defense.

That's "Sheppy" to you.
It’s not a Royals nickname unless there’s a “y” on the end.
If you look closely, it really says "CentralChamps2012."

Wow...
Injuries really forced their hand. Well that and the fact that they used all 57 pitchers in a game a couple days ago.
Who will be the man to make his major league debut first?
Hughes or Marte?

I am a bit surprised, in a good way, that three guys were called up. I was hoping Disco would get a call as well. And I guess he still might next week. I guess there is a small chance DiNardo and Duckworth might be summoned as well.
I am kinda excited to see how Marte and Rosa pitch. Hughes doesn’t seem as promising to me.
Anyway, it’s all good. At least a little something to add interest to the 2009 end game.

I find Hughes to be
much more interesting than Marte. Hopefully he has a decent showing and he can be our lefthander-in the pen-next year.
Glad Rosa finally got called up
although I’m worried that he might take playing time away from Farnsworth and Roman Colon — we need to see what those guys have for next season!

Farnsy's injuries have certainly crippled the team.

No DiNardi?
I would think with Gil and Banny missing starts we could use DiNardi up here. Oh wait…nevermind…I just realized he’s been the best pitcher in Omaha this year so it would make no sense to actually try him out in KC.
