well, at least the Royals didn't make the top 5 list

for worst deals of the season (although Podsednick is still lurking out there).

    Since you linked deadspin,

I’m amazed that Babb’s piece today about Bowe failing a drug test because his grandma sent him the wrong pill didn’t make it there today.

Glad I came, just wish I hadn't stayed so long.

    my god....

you’re a multimillionaire athlete with doctors who work FOR YOU to givie you what you need, and you’re looking for grandma’s (who is ‘old’) cures for fucking cramps?

    Seems unfathomable

Since it has been unbelievable cold in KC since Christmas. Seriously, WTF?

    It's An El

Nino year; you’re getting all the shit we usually get up here, and we’re getting sloppy, wet snow followed by rain. I’d trade you.

I used to be an A's fan until they left town and got good.

Supposed to be -10 later this week, I'd trade that for rain any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Although the cold doesn’t really bother me as much as the f’ng snow. If I wanted to drive in snow and have to do it for weeks at a time, I’d live in Minnesota or North Dakota.

Glad I came, just wish I hadn't stayed so long.

    It's The Thaw

And freeze cycle that I hate. If there’s going to be snow, I’d like to see the temps stay in the teens or single digits.

    Indeed

We get tons of snow, and it stays cold. That’s fine. And then we get a chinook, where the temperatures rises 50 degrees in a day, it all melts or starts too and then in plummets to -15 again after a day or too and it all freezes over again for snow to fall on top of.

It turns the roads into death traps, and rapid temperature changes really make you feel shitty.
