Where did you get the "With Yost taken" line?
Gonzalez, the former Marlins manager who went 276-279 in that job, has been the favorite for several months.
I was an enterprising journalist: I made it up. The Fredi hire was obviously a foregone conclusion (even in comments on this site as I recall). Just a little humor to liven up a headline everyone’s been expecting for, as you noted, several months.
