this is just what we need
another 1B/DH - you can't have too many!
can he play a corner outfield position?
"Things could always be worse." - Buddy Bell
Well, he probably shouldn't
but has that stopped KC before?
The only concern I have with too many 1B/DH types is that it limits the Royals’ ability to accumulate second basemen.

Especially Ones Who
Can’t play SS. Compromising defense to get replacement level offfense is a core strategy for Moore.

I forget
why do we have such a hard-on for Belt? Is it ironic?
One Poster Here
Has cooked up at least a dozen unrealistic trades to get him over the last year or so. It’s sort of a RR meme.

yeah
I don’t remember exactly what the ideas were (too lazy to look it up), and this is all meant in fun. And to be fair to the poster (hope he/she is still around) this was before Belt had a really impressive 2010 season, so good on that person for being ahead of the curve.
Still, the obsession was pretty funny. Plus, I like one syllable names that you can reallt BELT out.

We’ll all just have to loosen our BELT fantasies over this Thanksgiving holiday
