Oh my god
This is hilarious and amazing.
McDonald confirmed by e-mail that his post was satire.
I think you should have stood by your story.
The immoderate moderator
I stand by those quotes
He obviously left the press conference and went straight to bookstore locale shopping.
Okay
All this Crawford bookstore stuff is starting to make sense to me now. For a few days there I felt like I was on the outside of some huge joke…and I guess I was.

Wow. For once I was there at the beginning for one of these things
instead of hearing about it for the first time from the paper (or worse, my parents). I feel suspiciously cool! But I’m sure it will pass.
the latest Japanese Twitter news on Zack
NYYのプランBは、グレインキー獲得かな~失敗したらいよいよクビがヤバい。 (“NYY Plan B is an acquisition or Gureinki Iyo Iyo – fired but fails dope.”)
Lots of alternative translations for those last 4 words.
(“GM should do is cash it? I’m sure you, KC is a win Gureinki. NY Gureinki facing a mental illness is said to cause major problems in the media and absolute. Do the same thing if I lose them, right, right? Plus, I get this and Kano Masa Pavano, who turned four years itai disease and the rest comes Yanks.”)
I can’t see the Yankees signing Kano Masa Pavano this offseason
FIRE DAYTON MOORE and Follow me on Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/bhindepmo
This literally says that Pavano has the "Ow Ow Disease"
Which was apparently a real thing: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Itai-itai_disease

It’s…pretty.

I have sources
That tell me the Rangers might match up well with the Royals for a Greinke deal.

Me too.
I am advised on good authority that interest rates will continue to stay steady, at least for the foreseeable future. Now is the time to nab some more pork bellies, I tell ya.

Well done, Will
I can’t believe the legs that little joke had. Hey, maybe we can convince someone that the Royals have signed Sidd Finch, Jr.
Chaim Mattis Keller New York City's # 1 Royals fan!
Humber gone
Welcome to the 40 man Frenchy.
I don’t believe Kaneoka (sp) will be next. He was just signing stuff for little kids. Doesn’t seem like they’d have him do that with a move imminent.
Arias or Zawadski?

If he actually builds a bookstore because of you...
heh, wow. I mean, I knew it was a joke when I first read it, but I guess it shows how the site has come that people unfamiliar with with Will’s style see it.

A's pursuing Josh Willingham
It will be interesting to see what the Nats get for him. Willingham has pretty consistently been a 2.5 WAR outfielder the past few seasons and is one year away from free agency. Very similar to say, David DeJesus. Will be interesting to compare the two deals.
