DMIT - Round 2, part 2

The first part of Round 2 had some upsets and I think there are many more possibilities in part 2.  In these matchups, we get to re-live the acquisitions of such Royal greats as Yuniesky Betancourt, Tony Pena, Jr., Mike Jacobs, Jeff Francoeur, Jason Kendall and Yasuhiko Yabuta.  Some great players and tremendous contracts.  Good times...

#5 Jeff Keppinger traded for Russ Haltiwanger vs. #4 Trey Hillman hired as Royals manager

#6 Brett Tomko signed to a one-year contract vs. #3 Ross Gload signed to a two-year contract extension

#10 John Bale signed to a two-year contract (first signing) vs. #2 Leo Nunez traded for Mike Jacobs

#1 Jason Kendall signed to a two-year contract vs. #8 Jeremy Affeldt and Denny Bautista traded for Ryan Shealy and Scott Dohmann

#4 Jeff Francoeur signed to a one-year contract plus mutual option vs. #12 Hideo Nomo signed to a minor league deal and eventually called up to the majors

#6 Carlos Rosa traded for Rey Navarro vs. #3 J.P. Howell traded for Joey Gathright

#2 Yasuhiko Yabuta signed to a two-year contract vs. #7 Jorge de la Rosa traded for a PTBNL (who may or may not have been Ramon Ramirez)
