Former Royal Harmon Killebrew has cancer

Harmon was a member of the 1975 Royals team. He's one of the nicest guys in baseball history, a member of the Baseball Hall of Fame, and when he finished his career, he was 5th on the all-time HR list. He was the A.L.'s all-time leading righthanded HR hitter until Alex Rodriguez recently topped his career HRs. Here's hoping he can recover quickly.

Killebrew Was Almost
As synonomous with HR power as Mickey Mantle was among active players when I was growing up. He certainly killed the A’s with great regularity back then. Best wishes for his speedy recovery.
I used to be an A's fan until they left town and got good.
