This is a bad week for the 1975 Royals team. First, it was Harmon Killebrew's bad news about his esophageal cancer. Now Steve Boros. Boros was the 1B coach for the Royals from 1975-1979. To give younger fans an idea of his impact, during Boros' tenure the Royals averaged 92 wins and 70 losses per season. Boros was 74 years old.
