Daniel Duffy's Mechanics
Keith Law wrote that Duffy's mechanics were messed and that is why he didn't make his top 100. I asked Kyle at DrivelineMechanics.com to look at it.

Awesome. I'm excited to see this.
Honestly, I don’t usually hit that sight anymore. Now that DF isn’t there no one writes articles and it’s just boring.
You should see if you can get him to do some more of the Royals guys… :) Aaron Crow. Montgomery. Melville. Sample. Lamb. Arguellos. Hayenga. Ect. ect.
Coffee. The NEW Performance Enhancing drug for Sport's Writers. Just ask Ken Rosenthal.
I just emailed him on an opinion, didn't know that he was going to do an article.
I wanted to do a Crow video, but all I could get was one when he was still in college

Crow has those Hochevar type mechanics...
Almost Tom House with that front side… There is video of him on prospect tube from the Arizona Fall League. It looked a lot better than this as I think he’s made a few changes.

The gif - video used was generated from a clip from here
It is just the first pitch of the sequence.
It needs to be a gif to use in comments or boards.

Ok...a source close to the players wrote me this:
“that video is from his rookie year in the AZL. Some things have dramatically improved thanks in large part to Mark Davis and Doug Henry like shorter stride, to throw more downhill, and less throwing across his body. The minor league pitching guys have been great in terms of his improvments.”
"Here’s the rub Brian Matusz had 2 losses in the minors last year both in the Carolina League, both against the Blue Rocks and the WP on both occassions was Danny in two very good pitching duels. The other big hitters in the league didn’t do any damage against Danny although they are small samples. Heyward didn’t touch him nor did Freeman, or Alvarez. The guys that did some damage were Brent Morel, Cord Phelps, and the Chinese CF from the Red Sox (Che-Hsuan Lin)
Overall he did his job and bounced back well from subpar outings contrary to someone else’s opinions.

Greg - Thanks
The comment by Law just took me by surprise when reading it.

Jeff
No worries
It started a good debate on here…that is the most important thing…Things never get solved if they are not discussed
