Video: GM's Corner: Week 2

Jim "Boy Wonder" Bowden (!) leads a "Small Market GM Roundtable" with contributions from Theo Epstein (representing big markets), Josh Byrnes, Dave Dombrowski, Mark Shapiro, and... wait for it... a really, really, beaten-down looking Dayton Moore. I'll let you watch for the highlights.I made a bunch of jokes on Twitter, but I'll let you guys take it. Dayton does say "impactful" and busts out the "we have to overpay... not that we're making excuses!" line.

I was going to

just go to foxsports.com then MLB and it should be in there video section on “Small Market Gm roundtable”

I'm not a sabermetrician, but I do play one at FanGraphs.

Can't get enough of me? Check out my Twitter feed.

Also...

…in case it helps, I wasn’t able to see the video until I went to full screen mode (right click for options). Then it was fine.

Yes

Dayton is pretty bad.

However, he is not as bad as the FOX video editors. God awful. And it doesn’t even seem like half the answers correspond to the questions.

Note Shapiro’[s use of “they play the game the right way” line when referring to the Twins. It’s spreading like the clap!

Shapiro meant it ironically

Likely an inside joke for Keith Woolner.

I've Been Hearing

That expression as long as I can remember.

I used to be an A's fan until they left town and got good.

Who were the bastards

that first started the scourge of guys playing the game The Wrong Way and screwing everything up? Did they start running to third every time they hit the ball?

I think it was Branch Rickey and Earl Weaver
