Game 12 Lineup vs. Brew Crew (3/16) - 3:05 CT

News of the day is that Parraz, Pina, and Rosa were optioned and Coats, Payano, and Bostick were sent to the minor league camp. No real surprises there.

No Ryan Braun in the Brewers lineup, but Prince and Alcides Escobar will be there. Should be a good show. Their pitcher, Narveson, is trying to crack the rotation and hasn't given up a run this spring.

Gameday here.

Star-divide

Both lineups today because the A/B split is interesting:

B Game vs. Texas:

1. Pods - LF

2. Betemit - SS

3. DDJ - CF

4. Billy - 1B

5. Fields - 3B

6. Aviles - 2B

7. Pena - C

8. Falu - RF

9. Getz - DH

P - Gaby Hernandez (Edgar Osuna and Bruce Chen to pitch also)

And your A game lineup against the Brew Crew:

1. Blooms - 2B

2. Kendall - C

3. Callaspo - 3B

4. Thorman - DH

5. Guillen - RF

6. Kila - 1B

7. Maier - LF

8. Yuni - SS

9. Anderson - CF

P - Meche (Crow, Rosa, Rosaria, and Parrish also planned)

I really wish Crow would of been on the mound last night

That’s okay. I’ll get another chance. When is the next televised ST game?

Supposedly Sunday against the Rockies

But the game last night isn’t on this schedule so it’s hard to tell for sure.

So as far as the lineups go, I'd take the one with Meche and Crow

But I don’t know about the position players… lol

Falu In RF?

I mean, it’s better than Hoagy, but is this part of any possible future?

Doubtful

Probably just getting him more ABs and seeing if he’s viable in any other spots. Because, you know, we don’t have enough outfielders as it is.

Young pitching prospects are the currency of baseball, so we can always get more OF's

I loooooove that 8-2. It’s the real ‘heart of the lineup’ – all heart, no talent.

Let's just trust the process.

Hard to tell

Two competing lineup posts, so I don’t think people know what to do.

Looks like you can make it one if you want.

That seems like a more appropriate name.
