POLL: Kyle Davies

Kyle Davies has had minimal success with the Kansas City Royals baseball club.  I'm sick of them trying to find some sort of value in him.  I'm convinced he's worthless.

I remember back before the start of the 2009 season, people were saying that he was going to be the key to the Royals success.  I was very skeptical.

Below is a poll about what the Royals should do with Kyle Davies.

Poll
If I had my way, on opening day, Kyle Davies would be...
...on the starting rotation
30 votes
...in the bullpen
62 votes
...in the minors
15 votes
...not anywhere near the Royals franchise

A team without a Hiram...

Can not be nearly as good as a team with a Hiram.

I'd honestly start him in the rotation

On a short leash. He’s projected a 4.75 FIP, which is fine from a #5. I’m not sure putting him in the pen will help, he’ll throw harder, yes, but probably miss more because of it.

Davies

Dump him. If we keep doing what we’ve been doing, we’re going to keep getting what we’ve been getting.

How long can we go with a 4 man rotation to start the season?

No

Schedule goes. Detroit (1)/OFF/Detroit(2)/Detroit(3)/Boston(4)/Boston(1)/Boston(2)/Detroit(3)/Detroit(4)/Detroit(5)/OFF

Hiram Could Be

Pouring slabs by June, but I think we have to see if he has any value as a reliever before we cut bait.

I used to be an A's fan until they left town and got good.

I hope he earns a spot in the rotation

He’s only 26, I wouldn’t give up on the kid already.

Give him one more chance in the pen

At least he can’t be any worse than Farnsy.

It's pronounced Poo-ZHOLS in Catalan.
