Dude, I'm in Baseball Prospectus!
Late last night I was reading through Baseball Prospectus 2010. After I'd finished the last chapter that I'd allowed myself before bed, I was flipping around in the back, delaying sleep the best I could. Looking through the acknowledgments, I saw my name, right there on page 641.
It was extremely strange and exciting, even though it really isn't a big deal, because it was totally unexpected.
Very cool.

Careful Will
THOSE CANS ARE DEFECTIVE!
Mr Glass, this is a pro sports team, not a retail store - run it like one!
congrats
I'm not a sabermetrician, but I do play one at FanGraphs.
Can't get enough of me? Check out my Twitter feed.
BTW, did it say "Will McDonald of Royals Review"?
…or just “Will McDonald”?

Nice work, sir.
It seems to me like whenever I read sabermetric stuff, there is an unusual amount of writers with KC ties. Is it just that I’m a KC fan, so those are the guys I notice, or does KC produce a higher number of sabermetrically inclined fans? My gut says its the latter. Perhaps there is something about the vacuum in the front office bringing it out in the naysayers among the fans. That’s at least the idea I get from this site. At any rate, good job.

I want to further congratulate you Will
and also ask about this KC-centric sabermetric presence…what’s the deal?

Congrats Will
I bet you have been reading it left and right to figure out what you added to it.

I saw that a week or two ago and I was wondering if it was you or not. I told my gf and she looked at me blankly
"I DARE you to make less sense."

Guess the name change is paying off.
Glad I came, just wish I hadn't stayed so long.
People ask me what I do in winter when there’s no baseball. I’ll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring.
