Gordon out 3-4 weeks with broken thumb.
According to Dick Kaigel at the Royals team website, Gordon broke it while sliding into second after his failed steal attempt. Someone needs to tell him to just stop sliding head first. I bet someone regrets giving him the green light on that one. However, this does set up nicely for Jose to move over to 3rd which would really take our infield defense to a new level.
