Podsednik dominating the MLB
After two weeks, he leads the entire MLB in batting average (.457) and on base percentage (.528). Guillen also registered in the HR list (tied for 4th). My god, what is happening to this team?

If that doesn't sober people up
Nothing will.

I don't know, but I like it.
Except for the bullpen sucking ass. The team is so weird right now.
But anytime I get too excited I remind myself that we started 18-11 last year and that really had nothing to do with the rest of the year’s performance.
Still going to enjoy it while it lasts. That and the socks-up look. I’ll always enjoy that.
If he finishes at .457
That would not only be a Royals record, but a MLB record.

Whats incredible to me
is that he’s been on base about 28 times, and scored only 5 runs!
And a quarter of those times he’s stolen a bag and put himself in scoring position.
Not really a useful stat, just kind of a strange occurrence, and perhaps another indictment of our general lack of ability as a team to really hit consistently.
