I guess the teams can make a little money, and evidently a large amount of people want to attend them... but it all seems odd to me.

We've waited so long for baseball, and we slogged through the endless Spring Training, which is actually really really boring. But, it's also laid back, more casual, and takes place off stage. It is different.

And then, right when we're almost home, we get this ST games in the team's stadiums. Does anyone else almost try not to watch them?

I'd rather have two or three days without baseball, so that burst of Opening Day is all the better. You?
