All Former Royals Team - position players
Who should make the squad? Based on current playing time. Ex-Royals farmhands included.
My leading choices are:
1B Mike Sweeney
3B Mark Teahen
OF Raul Ibanez
OF Johnny Damon
Bench players:
OF Matt Diaz, Matt Stairs
DL Coco Crisp, Carlos Beltran, Jason LaRue, Mark Ellis, Endy Chavez
The only other ex-Royals on active rosters (who all happen to be catchers) are Ronny Paulino, Gregg Zaun, and Matt Treanor.
Jermaine Dye would definitely make the team if he had a job.
Mike Jacobs may reappear on this list after he goes through waivers.

oops
I knew I would miss someone. Paulino probably didn’t make much sense, since he was only in spring training as a rule 5 pick several years ago, before he was sent back to the Pirates in March

I want DJ Carrasco back!!
Screw the Pirates. Dude was good in KC and I wanted him to stay. No idea why the dude went to play overseas.
Yes, I'm still alive. Sorry to disappoint you.
