It is apparent that our team is once again lacking the ability to compete. I know it has only been 25 games or so, but few of us believe that 2010 will be "our year". Many have pounded on Moore for most of his moves, and rightfully so, however I want to throw out a plan for remainder of 2010. I believe it will take our club to the next level.

First off cut Bloomquest, he is a great guy that is the way of a developing team. Aviles starts everyday, two days at second and one at SS. Getz will start one of three games and PR in the others. Kila gets to play everyday at 1b and DH. Send Meche to the doctor for the shoulder surgery that he should have already had. Bring up Bullington to take his spot. Ride Hoechever out the whole year, I don't care if his era is 10, keep sending him out there.

Here are the big ones... Trade Soria to Philly for CF Prospect Dominqie Brown and P Prospect Austin Hyatt . Send Hosmer to the Yankees for C Prospect Jesus Montero .  Send DeJesus and Guillen to Seattle for SS Prospect Nick Franklin. 2010 draft the best college pitcher available with our #4 overall.

Our year is 2012. I would after 2010 sign Butler to a 5 year extension, using Guillen and Dejesus' freed up salaries.

In 2011, Bring up Crow and Montgomery, put them with Greinke,Hoechever and (Bullington,Meche,Davies or Banny). Bring up Moustakas,Sisk,B Hardy and Osuna. Spend all year figuring out our starters and bullpen. After 2011, a huge crop of FA starters will be available. We should spend big and get the best starter we can. If we don't need a top tier starter, we can sign a big thumper for DH.
