Royals bench AVILES, GUILLEN: KILA to clean-up.
Good to see us reward Betancourt's lack of effort last night by starting him and sending Aviles to the bench instead. Butler at DH, Kila at 1B, Guillen joins Mike riding the pine.

I Swear I'd
Rather see them run Sporqie out there than Yu-Bet. I just hope Aviles isn’t hurting somehow. Trey comes so close to getting it right. I wonder if Mitch will play tonight.
I used to be an A's fan until they left town and got good.
perhaps
they’re just trying to be extra cautious with his elbow. I’d rather do that then what we did in previous years and rush guys back.
Obviously, you are not a golfer.

Agreed.

Cruiser...
Does he get a PT Cruiser for catching 150 games?

That's what really irks me about the Braden/A-Rod thing
do neither of these guys notice the spotlight they’re taking away from the New Iron Man?

Just plug in Aviles and Brena and you almost have a league average offense.
I used to be an A's fan until they left town and got good.
What
if you put Callaspo at 2B and called Gordon up to play 3B? Still league average, or just covering all the holes in the offense?

I would seriously
watch this team a lot more closely if this was the lineup we were throwing out there most days.
We all know the only reason Yuni booted that ball was because
Aviles disrupted his flow. He has to play every day or he gets out of his defensive groove. DUH

He's helping the White Sox
about as much as Soriano’s hot start is helping the Cubs
Thank goodness they got rid of Milton. Playoffs here they come!

Anyone care to venture a guess what Gil's line is gonna be tonight?
I say 4.0 IP 6ER 10 hits 4 BBs 101 pitches

The real question with Vlad...
…is how many pitches will he see on his way to his 3-5 (single, double, HR) night? – TL

We Can Haz
DDJ LF
Callaspo 3B
Kila 1B/DH
Butler DH/1B
Gordon RF
Aviles SS
Maier CF
Kendall/Pena C
Getz 2B
Bench: C, Bloomers, Yu-Bet, Podz
A weak bench is the least of our problems.
I used to be an A's fan until they left town and got good.
